Community Helpers

A Visit from Our Heros!

The community is on hand to visit and teach our kids. For example, this fire truck parked right in front of the pre-school. Children met the heroic firemen and explored the buttons and gears inside the truck.

Other visits are scheduled with our police etc.

Parent Participation

A very special opportunity offered at the Center is our Parent Advisory Council. This group is directly responsible for policy development, fundraising, and special programming.

PAC meets once a month and each class has a parent representative to organize activities and opportunities. This participation also counts as parent volunteer hours.

Vacation

After a child has been enrolled for nine (9) consecutive months, he will be entitled to seven (7) vacation days. These days can be taken individually or all at one time In every case, however, the Center must be notified in advance that the day is being used as a "vacation".

Arrangements for a week's vacation shoould be made with the Program Director, with a minimum notice of 8 working days. If you wish to use your vacation days to keep your child at home due to illness, you may do so by informing the Center no later than 9:00 am on that day.
